Only 4 penalties for 35 yards. This team is focused and disciplined.

I was watching FSU vs. Ole Miss last night (1st half). FSU had a gaxillion penalties, especially false starts. Mississippi too. Of course they can offset some penalties due to the talent onboard.

As we get better players, and coach-up the ones we have, and continue to stress discipline, we will improve.

1. Laviano did have 24 completions.

Sure he barely cracked 150 yards passing, but that's not the point.

2. Mehringer said before the game that he'd consider the offense a success if we completed the passes to at least 9 guys.

Laviano had completions to 7, so that's good.

I sense sarcasm

The bright spot for me was the final gun sounding.

This. There is no bright spot in an an old fashioned ass whipping.
Petersen could have let the Huskies score 70 if he wanted.

How people can say our QB played ok is mind blowing. His stats were padded due to going against the 2nd team defense of Washington in the 2nd half. Even with that the passes were g-d awful ..sorry.
