Sometimes I listen to Sirius XM college sports station channel 84. The morning program - the First Team- has this guy named Taylor Zarzour. (Often he works with Greg McElroy). He is such an ACC homer, particularly with respect to North Carolina schools (I guess at one time he did local sports radio there), and "Coach K". It's nauseating. And, of course, ACC basketball this year is "the best ever!"

And forget about him say anything negative about North Carolina academic scandal. He is very opinionated about other school scandals but this one, nary a word.

And if Rutgers ever is mentioned, he invariably says something like -"it's such a shame college sports is all about money. They were only added for the eyeballs. Their sports are awful." Then he pines for, and waxes on, about local rivalries, and says it's a shame "in the name of conference expansion" all that has been lost. And a few years ago after Mike Rice incident and then Kyle Flood/ Julie Hermann fiasco he would say "the schools a joke".

I find the guy annoying, but I like listening to college sports so every once in awhile turn it on.
But he is a broken record, find him annoying, then end up turning off.

Wondering if anyone else feels the same or am I "out to lunch" on this one.

I like the show personally-------Zarzour is a bit of a stiff and I like McElroy and Chris Spatola-----who is Coach K's son in law.

The later show at 10 has Chris Childers who IMO is a joke along with Rick Neuheisel who I really think is outstanding .

I like McElroy too. He is is not afraid to call out a coach, program or player, even Alabama (his alma mater) and the SEC.
Chris Spatola is a nice guy, but too much "umms and ahhs". He needs to work on his speaking delivery.

I won't listen to them for the sole reason that they took over Bill King's slot, who is the most knowledgeable college football I have ever heard. I also really like the Childers-Coach Rick show.

I would keep listening to them and try not to let it bother you. It will be that much sweeter when we're good and they have to admit we're good. That moment will be wonderful!

That guy will probably never admit that when it happens.

Try not listening to his show...that's your best weapon!

The ACC is far superior to the B1G as shown in head to head competition and ranking of teams in the top 25 .
