the ACC appears ready to pay the larger profile teams a bigger share of the pie, this in order to try to keep them in fold
it does make some sense that if a team goes to a major bowl, or the national championship game, they would deserve more than the last place team in the end
the article is slanted in the direction that it shows a weakness in the ACC, and is a move that may not stave off teams leaving sometime in the future
the question becomes,
will the big ten power teams look for the same, maybe not as an answer to leaving, but just because

Why the ACC’s move toward unequal revenue sharing won’t save it from an uncertain future
Ceding to the demands of Clemson, FSU and more isn’t a long-term fix. It'll only hasten the ever-widening split between haves and have-nots.
