It would be great to add someone with his values, his record of achievement, and his stature. He knows the offense we're going to run inside out and he knows what it takes to make it to the league, and lead his team to the NFL playoffs. Great PR and he'd be a great role model for our kids. Finally, his National Championship Rings sure couldn't hurt.

He even spent the morning with Bon Jovi on December 10th.

I really hate these kinds of threads.

You can't simply ignore and not read the title when looking for good threads.

I wish John would clean out the cr*p and drive the point to guys who live in grandma's basement to go back to Call of Duty.

It looks like he's realized from his previous thread that Tim Tebow is a topic that gets a lot of attention.

So what does someone that loves attention do? Create a Hire Tim Tebow thread.

Were you rubbing one out when you came up with this? ...or were you Tebowing?!?:joy:

What would he coach.? Ceratinly not QB passing technique.

Al, do you find Tim Tebow as handsome as Tim Pernetti? Do you just have a thing for men named Tim?

I heard Sid Luckman and Otto Graham are available, lets hire them. What an offense we would have.

But he has no experience coaching, so I'm not sure what the market rate for him would be

Al, you have been downright reasonable lately, you are not going back to the old AL right?

You know he isn't coming here.

I think we should wait for Johnny Football to be kicked out of the NFL and have him AND Tebow as co-QB coaches. What a freakin' dichotomy that would be!

I have never thought anything you said was TRULY crazy until now.

I think we should hire this guy named Tim!

Y'all jump on Al with regularity.

Personally, I think he is passionate about Rutgers, and knowledgeable about recruits. For that alone I admire RutgersAl.

Tebow may or may not become a coach in the future. But, as a Heisman trophy winner while a QB, I bet a bunch of young men might want to listen to what he says. Just because he wasn't a big success in the NFL, doesn't mean he wasnt a damn good QB in college.

Would you rather have had Tim Tebow at QB at Rutgers or are you completely satisfied with the last 2 QB' s we had at Rutgers?

Post game "First I'd like to thank the guy upsatirs" his post games would be all about the big guy and not the players. I have memories of the SNL skit, where Brady was god's nephew. I am guessing the first time he mentions JC the faculty would go nuts.

I've said it before and I will say it again. A great player does not equal a great coach. Some of the best coaches I ever have met, and worked with, have not been tremendous players.

If you don't like it than why are you here? You don't have to participate. Beat it.

took me a minute...
An outer and an inner joke. I'm a little unhappy that I've potentially caused offense to two innocent interest groups. But it is only humor, poor though it may be.

al... put the crack pipe down.. take the needle out of your arm.. dump your last bottle of booze .. and let's have an intervention for you ok?

Tebow was criticized like crazy for his long and slow release and general bad form throwing the football.
And you want him to come here and teach our QBs to throw?

No, I want him to come here and teach our people to win. Something he did at the college and professional level.
