Great pics. Thanks for posting. The pictures of the people in these rendering is funny. Who are the guys on the basketball court? The artists friends? Playing pickup?

Just renderings obviously, but in that first pic, it's not practical to have benches with free weight plates immediately next to a track without a safety barrier in between. All it takes is one slip when you're racking a 45 lb plate to send it rolling onto the ankle or into the path of a runner coming along.

Anyone know what the vacated space at the College Avenue Gym will be used for ?

Scarlet,
I realize that right now Rutgers Womens Volleyball is not great, but at some point in the future, can BTN even televise a high quality picture from the CAG or would televised matches need to be moved to the RAC ? If I remember correctly,
the Rutgers Mens team based in Newark has played matches at The RAC in the past.

Big TV matches (what few they are) are played in the RAC. Volleyball shared the Barn with Gymnastics and wrestling. but it is all theirs once the new building is finished.

Awesome pictures, I like how the basketball court has a nice area for free throw shooting. Is it me or does the ceiling in the wrestling room seems low?

To go along with what @Scarlet_Scourge said about volleyball, they still have intramurals at the Barn. I believe they have also had a few small concerts, involvement fairs, and other events there as well, not to mention to student weight room in the basement.

Cali.
I thought this was already named under RWJ deal.

I believe there are still naming rights available to the Soccer and Lacrosse Facility for $10M.

Last I heard we were at around $70 Million in After Phase One. Roughly 3/4's of the $100 Million Dollars raised in less than a year is an enormous achievement for our Athletic department.

It is.

As you stated, Cali was referring to there being naming rights available for the lax/soccer facility on Busch after being asked about the timing for groundbreaking for that facility, not the bball/wrestling/gymnastics one.

Naming rights for things like lockers, rooms, etc.

It sounds to me there have been some significant changes as it relates to where the facility will be. I don't have all the information but I really like what I have heard.

I'm hoping they move it.
The rendering of where it currently sits will pretty much end the Blue Lot which is one of the Largest Parking Lots for Football.

I personally think they should put it where the stands are currently and install, reconfigure and reduce the height of the Bleachers to the other side of the field and make capacity about 3,500 or so along the sideline, and add another 500 seats in each end for students/overflow to make capacity 4,500 (500 less than now)

Also out of Curiosity, What is happening to the money we get from leasing the Stadium to Sky Blue FC?

I don't know where the blue lot is exactly nor can I comment on the lease question. I don't even know who Sky Blue FC is. I just wouldn't be shocked if it is in a completely different area than originally stated. I am sure details will be out soon enough.

The receptionist in the seventh picture is playing Galaga. Thought we wouldn't notice. But we did.

How do you think the Leonard Leap originated ?

It seems low but I think the scale of the wrestlers in the picture is off giving the appearance of being low. I imagine it a 10 foot ceiling which is more than enough.
