Looks like 4 weeks to the day and it will be over: http://www.bigten.org/championships/big10-m-baskbl-tournament-1718.html
When's the last time Rutgers' season ended before March 1? Has to be decades. I think I'll look.
The correlation between RU football and RU basketball is incredible. Pitiful, awful, atrocious, embarrassing, lackluster, pathetic offenses, combined with serviceable, energetic, hardworking defenses that get worn down and can't compete long term....
it's the same exact thing in both sports and makes for very hard games to watch.
It was the hoops version of Buffanova: Stonyford or Hartbrook, take your pick.Stonyford broke my back for this season. I never recovered...and apparently the squad didn't either.
An out of shape Bullock beat an in-shape Doucore vs Illinois
Bullock.....12 min 4-6 6pts.1REB 1 steals 1 turnover
Doucoure 18 min. 0-0..0pts 3REBs 0steals 3turnovers
I started the season with hope but starting just after the Seton Hall win this team has regressed a lot meanwhile a number of B10 teams got better
4-6 but only 6 points?
How is that possible?
