How bad was that trade again--it's the gift that keeps on giving to Ainge and Boston...honestly...

And the pick he traded to Portland for Wallace wound up being Lillard...

I'm not a fan of Jaylen Brown...and hope they get shut out of top 3...

Thinking the same thing as I watched the lottery, the guy destroyed the Sixers and makes one of the worst trades that you can think of. Takes aging players with large contracts giving Boston draft picks and cap room. Guy has to be one of the worst GM ever!

That may turn out to be the worst deal in sports history. Right up there with Nolan Ryan for Jim Fregosi and Herschel Walker for 5 draft picks.

I seriously do not know how the NBA let that happen, especially in light of the league negating the first Chris Paul deal. (before he went to the Clippers)

You must be mistaken. This trade was discussed extensively on this board and the trade was an incredibly great one for the Nets that was going to give them 30 more points per game and bring the title to the Nets. They totally schooled the Celts and the Rooskie was going to spend whatever it took to put them over the top.

The future is now, baby!

EDIT: Please pardon the schadenfreude. With today's political news, I needed to get a bunch of built up schadenfreude out of my system, and the Nets/Celts trade seemed to be a good vehicle.
