Another RU Transfer-Out Makes the Dance

Good for him, but not like he turned the program into an ncaa team. And VCU losing was just one of the confluence of events

Good for him. I saw his name in the starting lineup and had no idea what year he was in

Thought he had a lot of unrealized potential here. Could handle the ball pretty well for a guy his size. A lefty who could drive the lane and make it to the rim, but unfortunately couldn’t finish enough.

I am happy for DJ. He sat out a year and this is his second year playing for St. Louis and 4th over 5 years. He is now 3 years older from when he played for us yet his numbers are a bit less than his soph year at RU. I am glad he will be playing in the NCAA.

I still remember that poor kid because of injuries had to play Isaac Haase and gave up like 6 inches.

Can’t say “tradition” .. yes Nigel Johnson left because he wanted to be in the NCAAs and all he got was being the first 1 seed to ever lose to a 16. 1 and done, next

VERY happy for both DJ and Van Macon, who is on the St Louis staff!

DJ is a great kid, just never really fit here. Macon is a fine coach and a better person.

Love em both...as always, RU for life in my eyes!
Love em and be happy for em? Great, absolutely.

Calling then RU for life? You can’t be serious.

I have to say I remember the name well but could not tell you anything else about him. Good for him though, no hard feelings here

I just saw his stats. Don't think he would be much help. Decent rebounder but still very inefficient. Turns the ball over at an alarming rate and can't shoot free throws.
