Anyone see this news??? AD retiring today? as a Raiders fan, i hate the 49ers but damn i feel bad for this offseason for them

To some on this board, it is DEF Flood's fault. no question. Maybe he can do some GA work for us like Stapleton did. Hope all is well with him, i know he's had some nagging injuries past two years, but still.

Given they way he talked about 'mental health' does anyone know if he has had issues with concussions?
I hope he spends some time back at RU working with the linemen. Since he has a good relationship with Coach Flood, maybe it'll happen. Whatever the case, I hope his time off helps him. You only get one brain, one body. So do what you have to to take care of it.

What does reading this board have anything to do with being excited to watch a Rutgers football game?
I saw AD in the lobby of the Hyatt in April. I was creepily/stalkerishly watching him walk across the lobby and remember my friend noting how he was walking...very gingerly...almost like he was an old man. We started discussing the toll that being an NFL lineman must have on your body.
I'm amazed this doesn't happen more often. Hopefully he recovers and enjoys the rest of his life/career.

He is not coming back. Another black eye for the Rutgers football program. We have now had a player knock out his wife, and another pulled a "Duran No Mas."
I can already see Dlinemen from other teams calling our Olinemen, 'Davis'.
We better let the refs know to keep an eye on that so they can assess a 15-yard penalty for taunting.

Good for young Mr. Davis. He is right.. it is his body. One of the stories has him talking about taking a spinning elbow to the head vs the Giants in game 11 and he still felt it 2 weeks later.
I hope for his sake he has not lost the love of the game and will work out properly during his time off. Of course, if he has lost the hunger needed to push your body to prepare for football.. I hope he knows that is what's going on.

Trade Kapyoche for Nuts any day of the week . I wasn't a fan of Nuts posts, but of his caring for RU.

Based on the statement of taking a year or 2 off I have no issue with this since it appears he has lingering injuries that need to heal. If it was just because he wanted a change then I would think it would be dumb to leave millions on the table. In his case why make a few extra million now when by age 30 he may be much worse off because he was playing with injuries. I do hope he has spoken to some retired NFL lineman like fellow RU alum O'Hara so he had a chance to make a truly educated decision.

Is Nuts still banned? Why did he deserve a permanent ban? If Oldman was banned that is troubling. Having concerns is not grounds for banning.
What exactly did Nuts write to earn a permanent banning? I don't understand the secrecy.
I don't either....I just read here he is perma banned which I guess is true since I know he knows board members offline.
