Any Update on Mike Williams injury?

Thanks for the prompt reply.

I feel bad for Mike and hope he finds a way to play again this year.

Hopefully he can at least see the floor on senior day for a minute to start the game

I hope Mike can get back at least for a few more games. He has been a real warrior for us for 4 years and definitely deserves to go out in style.

I should maybe preface that comment with a disclaimer..

I obviously have not seen any medical reports or results of any diagnostic tests

At a minimum, he will miss extended time, based on the information out there now. With the type of injury he has though, 6 weeks would appear to be a hopeful prognosis

When Mike got hurt in the SJU scrimmage, Deshawn came alive. Hopefully something similar happens this time...

very disappointing. we need him and he does not deserve to end career this way. get well soon Mike and hope to see you on the floor again asap!

Mike has a severe high ankle sprain. He is extremely questionable to return this season.

That said, the kid has been a warrior his entire career. No matter what the odds, I'd bet he plays again late in the season
This is very sad news. The kid is a warrior. He IMO was the glue that held this team together. He will be missed for all of the intangible and tangible things he did so well.

This is so sad. No one plays harder than Williams. I saw the video that showed him crying tears of joy after the SHU game. Really feel for him if this is the end of his career at RU.

If it's truly a Grade 3, Severe high ankle sprain, there's no way he'll be back, as these typically take 3-6 months to heal enough to allow participation in sports again.

This is the 2nd time he had a high ankle sprain. On BTN a video shows him landing on a player (PSU) foot and looks the same but its the right this time. He came back, but if he can get by with 30 days he may be able to work on strength and mobility to move laterally.
