Any updates on how to watch Rutgers Wash U game?

Disappointed with Rutgers for not proactively working with B1G and PAC12 to get fans the game.

Especially when Rutgers is trying to build excitement locally with Ash and asking fans for for B1G build fund $$$.

Still a week left maybe Hobbs finishes strong and gets game on locally.

Disappointed with you for having no idea what you're talking about.

Go Knights

My wife got the Amazon Fire Stick a couple of months ago and loves it. I watch with her once in awhile, although, when it's just me, I'm a flipper - I like discovering things serendipitously, as opposed to looking for specific things to watch.

Hey - are you going to be in town for the game? We arrive at our rental at 1 pm in OC and if I can't get the thing to work, are you going to be watching anywhere? Even if I can get it to work, my family isn't big on sports, so might rather watch with a fellow RU fan. Maybe send me an email or vice versa.

I would love to watch with you but unfortunately the tv with the kodi is in my bedroom. That would be kind of awkward sitting in my bed with you watching sports (not that there's anything wrong with that)

Did not intend to be helpful. As is the case with this board, I was injecting just a tad of sarcastic humor. BTW I am driving to the game.

Relax. That is nowhere close to "trolling" let alone being "borderline." Not sure why Shill got on you about it to be honest.

C'mon, we could spoon and cheer at the same time. Hopefully my wife can figure out how to get the game on her setup, but if not, any thoughts on Somers Point bars that might carry the game?

It's not on Rutgers. They got it at the school but they can't force cable companies to cooperate.

purchase an Amazon Fire stick for $100, go on youtube and watch how to download the "Kodi" app onto it since its not offered by Amazon directly. Once you have that you can download all kinds of stuff onto the Kodi app including the ability to watch all the PAC12 networks live. Also tons of free movies, TV shows and porn. In reality there isn't much need to have cable or Directv if you have it since there isn't much that you can't find on there. Its a treasure trove of content including movies that may currently be playing in theaters.

Live stream of the PAC 12 network. You're welcome

http://xrxs.net/video/live-p12netw-4728.m3u8

Easy way: type "pac 12 network free live stream." Many websites pop. Click. Enjoy

Thanks for the Kodi tip. Downloaded it to my laptop. Now have all Pac12 channels in HD. With my HDMI cable will watch on my big screen.

FYI: The Pac12 add-on for Kodi no longer works. You have to use Fusion. Install instructions on YouTube or search Kodi Pac12.

Well, after an hour or so, no luck. My wife said she won't install the Kodi app because it means her "network would have to be open and her phone won't even allow it for security reasons." As soon as she saw the phrase, "you’ll need to allow the installation of apps from unknown sources," it was over, so that's out and I don't even have a smart phone, lol.

We both then tried various "live stream" websites on my laptop and her iPad, but had no luck. Some wanted our login info from our carrier (I assume that wouldn't help since we have Optimum, which doesn't have Pac-12) and we couldn't figure out how to do the ones that look like they're free - I assume those are "illegal."

So, it's either snuggling up with @newell138 or finding a bar in Somers Point - or maybe asking a friend of ours in that area to buy Pac-12 network on Comcast and use their log-in info. Sucks that it's this hard - maybe if we were more media savvy it wouldn't be so hard.

Got it finally. For whatever reason, the first few websites I tried after doing the "pac 12 network free live stream" search just didn't work (they only listed past programming and the button for "live feed" just didn't work for some reason). The link below worked once I found the Pac 12 network on the site. Reminds me of ESPN3 from a quality perspective, i.e., the quality fades in and out a bit. I'm guessing getting an HD feed via streaming is out of the question...

The link someone gave earlier should work.... but surely you have an old pc or notebook tucked away somewhere.. install kodi on that.

PJ Squared in Jersey City is managed by an alumni and former hoops protester. He promises to have it hooked up. Location is in PATH Plaza, Journal Square.
Sorry folks but was just told this is NOT happening. I'll await word from Nuts on Hoboken. Sure wish I could get to Seattle.

I'm not against spooning with anyone.

If anyone has the game it would be yesterday's or Charlie's. There is also a chickie and petes out in EHT.

I could also move my Amazon tv out of the bedroom but that's too much work and also my best tv

I'm guessing you missed my last post, where I finally figured it out with regard to live streaming, so I should have that as a backup. I still like watching with fellow RU fans, so if you feel like going to a bar somewhere that might have some RU fans, let me know. Not sure if there are any bars like that in SP or even AC - RU has never been that big down the Shore south of LBI - still friggin' PSU country.

FYI: All that the Kodi Pac12 plugin does is call up the xrxs.net URLs, you can cut out the middle man (Kodi & plugin) by simply entering the URL into a browser or a media player that knows how to handle http streaming.
Just for the heck of it I'm adding the text from the configuration file for the Kodi pac12 plugin. You'll see all the URLs for all 6 pac12 channels in both 720p and 1080p. All the rest of the config file is just for Kodi menu display. The game will be live on the Washington and National channels only.

So the good news is that I was able to successfully get the Pac12 network via Firestick-Kodi last night and should be good to go for Saturday. The bad news was that it wasn't as easy as I expected. Unless I used the incorrect url provided above, I couldn't get it to work. So I did what any adult would do, I went to youtube and found a video where a 10 year-old basically went step by step on how to install it.

If anybody has a few minutes, I'd be curious to understand which of the above urls I should have used at which point in the installation process. Either way, maybe the above video is helpful to somebody else.

GO RU!

I was reading yesterday a Politi article where he says
Flood had a choice between a opening game at Syracuse, or at
Washington. He says he chose Washington because
he was afraid of losing to Syracuse and the reaction it
would draw.

SO you got it to work with the instructions in the video? That video has worked for several people.
