Any Word On Groundbreaking For Rodkin Center?

I was told this winter is the groundbreaking. We will see I guess.

They got this donation 9 months ago and we still do not have plans wow way to waste an entire year. We need this building built ASAP so they can move out of the Hale Center and that can be redesigned as a football only facility. I thought the lacrosse guys had some pull. What is the delay?

So lax moving out of the Hale Center too? Even though they play in the Stadium?

This facility will simply be a game changer for BB as Hobbs has been very carful to look at all of the similar facilities in the B1G ten as well as Hopkins new one just too make sure that he includes all of the things that we will need. Plus a turf practice field adjacent to the center and game day locker rooms in the Hale center will make this not simply a great recruiting tool but a great facility for the players.
Next fund raiser needs to be indoor practice facility (permanent structure) for football while keeping the bubble soccer and lacrosse

I think you’re confusing the Rodkin Center with the Barnabas facility that is well, well under construction.

No worries. I have been fortunate to see several D1 facilities first hand and when this is done they will be as nice as OSU and Michigan’s
Huge selling point...I was inside the Hopkins facility this summer with my son on a visit and got a firsthand tour of the entire facility...very very nice...it sells well...locker rooms, training rooms, meeting rooms, coaches offices, media center...it's all there, not to mention all the pictures, hardware, history...impressive building

Maryland, in my opinion, was not impressive, got the same tour...heck, the current RU set up for men's lax is better in my opinion...

Michigan is very nice, brand new...hard for me to say anything nice about Mich.

Loyola's Ridley complex is fantastic as well...they did it right, but kind of a different animal as lacrosse is king there...same as Hopkins...

The sooner the better for the new RU lax facilities...it's a difference maker

I believe Maryland is breaking ground on a new facility too? Maybe I am confusing them. I know Penn St. just finished theirs.

Rodkin Center is definitely a game changer. It’s going to make Brian’s job a bit easier. Can’t wait till it’s completed.
