Anyone going to Maryland this week?

Early on, our group talked about this trip but as the season progressed our enthusiasm for it sank faster than our record. Enjoy the trip and hopefully the boys pull it out for us.

Going down w my family of 5 to spend weekend in DC - parking in Lot 1b - got 5 seats in Section 3 for less than $50. thinking of heading over to the R game day tailgate at the Samuel Riggs Center. Anyone been to the R Gameday tailgates?

Yes, I've been at a bunch of them. The Riggs center is one of the better venues for these things.

Two years ago it was packed and I think they accepted so many walk-ins my group had to rotate among who could sit and eat as we could not all do it at the same time.

This year interest probably dropped off and I guess they'll get no-shows.

Still be a good fan and make a reservation if you plan on going.

Enjoy.

Wife and I will be there. Will look into the parking passes.

Where is the best parking if attendng R Gameday? Lot 1 OK?

Will be there. A group of us are hanging in DC for the weekend and will probably take the train from there to College Park for the game and then back.

I can't stomach another beatdown. I was so relieved to leave HPSS last Saturday, knowing it was the final time I would see this team live.

Thanks for the info srru86
I should have mentioned it is basically a buffet meal. Cash bar with wine or beer. Short talk by Pat Hobbs. Short cheerleaders or maybe band leading the cheer and such. Smoozing with your fellow fans. If it is cold we'll really enjoy the building over the tent we had at Michigan State.

in the RU/visitors section----i think its the last one in the horseshoe by the endzone.
If you like upper level, I think there are still $6 tickets available around the 50 yrd line via stubhub.

Section 2 is visitor seats- 2 years ago I sat in Section 3 and there were many RU fans in both 2 and 3

Will be at the R Gameday as well..... Can't get parking passes for anything except Lot 1 on Stubhub.

Have been pondering it, and will make a decision on Friday. If we go, will leave early on Saturday a.m. and return back the same day.

Doing the 1 day trip as well. Already have sunk costs of game ticket and Alumni tailgate. If game is a blowout, guess I'll go to a sports bar and watch remainders of OSU/UM game and RU game.
Never thought I would hope for a score of any kind--even a field goal at end of blowout game, just to avoid being shutout for 5th time.

Guys, it's going to be a close game. Do you think you're playing Michigan again? See ya there...

Will be there with my son and parking in the Terrapin Trail Garage by the Comcast Center

$17 parking pass.

Add to it a Friday at the Air and Space Museum and Sunday at the American History Museum.

Do you have to buy the parking pass ahead of time, or can you just drive up and pay/park?

TIA

Bought mine (for Lot 1) off stubhub yesterday. Getting delivered today!

Went two years ago and had a great time. Was planning on going this year as well, stay in the inner harbor and hit the Ravens game on Sunday. Somewhere around late October my group decided to bail.

Bought mine on line on the Maryland website.

In the past used to park for free at the College Park Metro station and shuttle bus over.

There is a $17 charge to park there as well.

Happy Thanksgiving
