Out of curiosity are you saying this because you know/feel he is "an outstanding person (as many of us knew/thought, prior to the other day, no doubt)," or, because you know ALL the facts of the situation?
He was cheating on his girlfriend with a recruiting hostess. It led to a brawl outside the Hale Center.
With fame comes great responsibility. Much of that responsibility has to do with where you stick your dick.

I was not there personally. I wont go into detail, but the multiple accounts I've heard (hearsay) have me confident that this incident in no way is anywhere near the others we have dealt with these past few weeks.
I do know personally that he is an outstanding person as well, despite what happened the other day.
I believe someone can be a good person and also Eff up. One does not make the other impossible.

It all depends on what his physical role in the altercation was. The only thing that could really vindicate him in time for him to contribute to RU football this season will be if video evidence is discovered/revealed showing that he didn't do what people all seem to be saying he did.

Very true. When I was acting, I was in a PSA for major league baseball about the 'dangers' in sports. The video was made to be watched by the incoming rookie classes to warn them about what to expect. One of the main portions was at the hotel and always be careful about the women...the girls at the away games, the ones in the bar at the hotel etc. all while your girlfriend/wife is at home. They always come back to get you!
While you wouldn't assume this to be the case based on the results, 50% of the agenda at NFL Rookie Symposium is about pu$$y.
Even in the best case scenario, if Carroo was intervening to protect his mother or sister from a beatdown by an exgirfriend, it stilll is his responsibility to exhibit self control. As someone who used to work with bouncers and later as a psychiatric aide in a hospital in my early years, we were trained to recognize there is a vast difference between restraining someone and assaulting someone. There are ways of stopping a fight that do not involve slamming or hitting anyone. It is all about using the techniques of restraint. It is all about self control.

Shame he wasn't in standing at the Hale Center. Outstanding is what got him in trouble.

If you watch the clip that came out a couple of weeks ago, you will see that somone else grabbed his ex and pulled her off of his girlfriend..You can also clearly see Caroo runing into the picture, picking up his girlfriend and running away from the scene. His EX said that nobody else touched pulled her. She said that Caroo's friend was not big enough to throw her off of Vega like that. It had to be Leonte. We know now that her statement was wrong at best because of the clip. I'll bet that she didn't count on there being video.
If this went any further, she would have to worry about perjury charges if this went to court.
The problem was that the police admitted that they based the charges on statements from witnesses at the scene. They did not see it. In the clip you can see Police or Security helping break up the first altercation(Caroo was not there), but they are not in view for the second altercation so the charges must stem from that incident. In that one, you can clearly see his ex and at least 2 other girls run up and surround Caroo's girlfriend who was standing by herself. You can see a purse swung at her too. It was obvious that Caroo's ex was the agressor. I think that it's safe to assume that the charges that were filed against Caroo, his mom, his girlfriend, and he father stemmed from the second altercation.
One of my neighbors is an RU Police officer. While he would not talk about specifics of the case. He only talked crypticly, but I get the idea that Caroo's ex and her friends dominated the statements and pushed their complaints to the Police while Caroos group was not as forcefull and were just trying to move away from the scene. The Police and you it appears wer mainipulated by a mob.
Exactly why the woman /girl /ex girlfriend / hostess should be glad no other charges go her way from her falsehood statements...this was known 4 weeks ago Carroo was innocent but once the DV charge was made everything else stopped...I have seen this before and it is sad... it is NOT good to strike a woman or anyone for that matter but it is also wrong to falsely accuse the man ( in this case Carroo ) because he dumped you...Watch how all the Carroo is a "scumbag" lot make their excuses over the next few weeks.
