Chris Ash is still not from New Jersey but at this rate most of his future team will be.

“A ton of credit goes to Chris Ash for being able to close on kids. Why are they having success in New Jersey? It’s because the head coach is working really hard and the assistants are following his lead.”
“I think it’s a number of factors: The energy, the pedigree that they come from, the system they are trying to employ,” Friedman said. “They have connections. They might not be as deep-rooted as the last staff’s, but they are newer, fresher, much more excited about what’s going to be happening at Rutgers. That’s a lot of what’s behind the momentum right now.”
