And we were a team that had won 3 times (Army-2015, Howard-2016 and New Mexico-2016) in our last 20 games(3-17) and a 10 game losing streak going into that game and EMU was 8-12 in their last 20. P5 teams have lost to FCS teams at home. I'd call those losses worse than a MAC team.

While everyone is talking about Jerry Kill changing things at RU one of the biggest changes has occurred on defense. After OSU, RU lost 3 Defensive backs, Austin, Hampton & a still banged up Hester, what Coach Jay Niemann has been able to do with the depleted secondary has been amazing. On the last drive by Maryland, with KJ Gray out RU had to use Wide Receiver Dacoven Bailey & walk on Zane Campbell with Hester & Wide Receiver Jawuan Harris & Damon Hayes. Not an easy thing to be able to accomplish replacing so many starters with players from different positions.
