At Rutgers University, a new effort is underway to confront ties to slavery

So without reading all thru the articles am I correct in reading above that the dorm I first lived in at Rutgers is going away because of some long ago and limited link to a slave owner?
So when I drive by with the kids or friends I soon won't be able to point it out?

Nah… as some have posted, the river dorms have been slated to be replaced for a while - part of the strategic plan for the campus. The location of Hardenberg is planned as a transit center. IIRC, a necessary part of the plan to make College Ave pedestrian and bus only.
