I have tried to be optimistic about this team but it's clear to me that there is no way to turn this around. Shame on Pike and the athletic department for not getting pieces in place for this once in a lifetime chance
As we all know, college sports is now a business, and if it's February and this team is sub .500, if I were Dylan or Ace's handlers, I would tell them to shut it down. They will have had more than enough on film for teams to see if they are lottery picks and other than pride, there would be no reason to keep playing.
Not sure if that would be a first in college ball, but it is definitely where the trend is heading
