Rumor for the last few years was that they were replacing it with a Panera.
They need a Wawa there. The ones in Center City Philadelphia have booths you can sit at now.
Lol here we go with the Wawa. It's like saying:
"Tremendous gambling in Las Vegas, the best! All the need is bingo!"
Writing was definitely on the wall, but a Panera would be great on College Ave anywhere.
That space is actually pretty small though now that I think about it. Obviously a Starbucks would of worked there, but there is now 3 of them within 3 blocks of each other on the other end of College Ave/George Street.
