Arizona State had been hot, today they got too hot and melted down against Stanford and lost.

It was a long shot but Stanford came from 15 down to beat Hurley’s Arizona State team at the buzzer 71-70 . ASU was hot and some thought they were an outside chance to be a bid stealer. Cross them off the list. Wake losing to BC is good as well. Day is going marvelously so far.

One quad 1 vs a non tourney team and non conf sos of 338 will loom large

Just 2-5 vs schools in..for comparison RU is 7-5..8-5 if u include Indiana
Bac - let's say we have a 12+ point loss to Iowa. Would you trade resumes with Wake or keep ours if you could?

The ACC tournament being in Brooklyn is the dumbest possible thing. No fans except maybe Syracuse are making that trip.
I've been to the ACC tournament in North Carolina several times. That was a HAPPENING event with fans from all schools roaming the building. Short drive for over half of the conference, not just a single one of them. They should go back there.

Their fans must be infuriated..especially in Coach Ks last year

I don't see how you put Wake in the tournament over Rutgers. The argument against RU is terrible non-conference SOS and bad losses.

Wake has a worse non-conference SOS and no good wins.

While I think schedule strength should matter (if it doesn't what's the point of the ACC/B1G challenge, MTEs, etc.), the committee should care way more about who you can beat than how bad are the teams you lost to since the tournament is made up of really good teams not really bad ones.

Huh? ASU is a sub .500 team. They are pretty much terrible. Who had them on the bubble?

Watching these early round games knowing we have the double bye like

Not on the bubble at all. A bid stealer in the weak PAC 12 who only has 3 teams going so far. Tall task if they won , would have had to beat Arizona , their rival, but after that not to much to ask. But 1 less team to worry about

I don't know if Wake will get in, but I'm glad they'll have to sweat it out. Their loss has to help RU though. They don't look so hot (it's hard to tell from one game) and ACC appears much weaker - besides Duke - than in recent past.

Dumb attempt at a flop sends Butler's star to bench with 4. Could be the turning point

The closest ACC school to NYC is located in Boston. Stick to the south. If this conference wanted an NYC presence it should have offered us over Cuse or BC. Thank god Jim Delany understood geography and the ACC did not.

Butler just cant score...8-0 xavier run up 57-54 4 to go
Bc the guy scoring all their points went to the bench. When you're the star scorer in foul trouble you can't risk something like that. You're too valuable and need to stay on the court. Risk reward is bad.
