Stupid question, with the rule change that a team cannot call back to back time outs.
Could Greg have potentially told someone on the defense to purposely jump offsides prior to the snap, which would have made it back to the original 4th and 9, Which then would have allowed to Greg to call a second timeout after the penalty depending on what look Illinois came out with?
Just curious if a penalty on a play would then count as a "new play" which would then allow the next play to be called a time out by the same team?
