Bac's NCAA Analysis by Conference 2/22

Think the big ten is sure of 6...Michigan is the one on the fence

Ohio state has a lot to do.

Ohio State is in big trouble. Their overall rpi is down to 78. Only quality wins are Michigan and Kentucky. They are 2-8 vs top 50 and a feeble 3-8 vs top 100 and they only picked that third up because Penn State has now snuck in the top 100 rpi at 99. Buckeyes absolutely need to beat Iowa AND win at Michigan State

just glancing at Lunardi's bracket I see we differ a little bit. He has Vanderbilt in and Alabama out while I have Alabama in and Vandy out. He also has Butler in and Gonzaga out while I have Butler out and Gonzaga. The last 4 in last 4 out lines are ooh so close right now

they did sweep #302 RU

Colorado looks like a good sleeper pick.

Lunardi still has Xavier as a 2 and Nova as a 1. At least Jerry Palm has both of them as 1's. Xavier is such a complete team, not sure how someone has Nova seeded higher than Xavier.

A-10 gets 4 in IMO. Dayton , VCU , St Joe and one of the above mentioned last 4 out.

Good showing in conference tourneys critical for most of the above.

As long as St. Bonnies doesn't lay an egg down the stretch, I could see them getting in over GW....so agreed, good showing in conf toruney will be critical.

VCU is playing their way out...if they don't beat GW and Dayton to close the season, they are not dancing short of winning the A10 tourney. They don't have many quality wins.

I think the A10 and AAC get 7 bids between them. I think Temple is out if they do not win the AAC tourney

Thinking Dayton, St. Joe's, St. Bonnie and GW especially if GW sweeps VCU tmw.

UConn Tulsa Temple and Cincy. They may get 8 between the two.

I would not bet against them. Good wins including SMU, Cincy 2x, Tulsa, UConn.
It's losses: North Carolina, Utah, Villanova, Wisconsin, St. Joes, Tulsa, Houston.
Begs the question how do you keep them out?

Where is Providence guy? They be in deep trouble.
I am still here not happy with the way my team is playing obviously. Still think we should be ok. It is a very soft bubble seems like a lot of teams playing themselves out such as vcu. As bad as we have been playing I still like I resume compared to others. Good non conference win over Arizona and away win against Nova decent rpi.

Would kill to have your "problem." Good luck! GW lost a heartbreaker to VCU. Don't know if they recover. Dayton lost yet another. From a virtual lock, to in, to bubble, to first four out?
