I waited to post my thoughts on this. It makes me sad. I don't understand how these kids who get a full scholarship that enables them to earn an education can throw it all away in a moment of anger. They are letting down themselves, their teammates, their coaches and their families. It has become commonplace for athletes at schools across the nation, men and women. I hope Caitlin figures it out and learns from this, whether she is ever allowed to play for RU again or not. I wish the same for Alexis. I also hope Caitlin's teammates are able to overcome this major blow to the composition of their team, not to mention how badly they probably feel for their teammate. I think this is a major blow for our prospects this season. Caitlin was an integral part of our lineup and I, for one, loved the way she played. I hope she can come back from this.
