Based om what I have seen so far this year I do not see either being a top 5 pick.

Bailey is inconsistent in scoring, not a good passer, poor FT shooter and only dominated in the Indiana game.

Harper is a 'tweener', not a true point guard and not a great outside shooter to be a very good 2 at this stage of his development.

It doesn't matter what we've seen so far. NBA picks are selected on their potential at the professional level. Both are expected to be studs, so both will certainly be top 5 picks.
What PMike said. Shelby has noticed PMike is so often on the money one would think the things he's predicting actually already happened.

PMike also predicts JMike will miss his next ten jumpshots. Well come to think of it, that's pretty obvious and we all know that, but PMike has mystical predictive powers nonetheless.

harper for sure, bailey likely but not a lock imo. it’s the nba so i’m sure we’ll see an international prospect pop up in the next couple months

You don't understand how the nba draft works. Go back to bed.

My goodness. Harper is a LOCK at 2 and I don’t see Bailey dropping past 5. He’s probably 3 or 4 depending on team need.

In your scenario the #6 pick GM would be the luckiest person on planet Earth

I think both should stay at Tutgers and get another year of experience under their belts

I half joked during the "I think RHJ could be a 1st round pick" fiasco that anyone making NBA Draft predictions should have to first say how many NBA games they have actually watched in the past 10 years.

Between the "Ace needs to stay in college for another year" posts and now "Dylan isn't a Top 5 pick" maybe it really should be a board rule.

NBA scouts don’t care what you think
We also don’t run any sort of offense that does anything go get them open. It’s a lot of standing around. It’s very easy to double them.
Also, Harper has been sick with the flu for the last three games. You’re nuts if you think a scout is not going to take them in the top 5 based off what they’re doing at Rutgers.

I read posts like this and I think “you know what, we really don’t deserve these guys at all.” Harper a “tweener.” Sure 🤣🤣🤣

Bailey also average 18.9 ppg and 7.6 rpg in an offense that does nothing to get him open looks. Imagine passing on Ace Bailey because he’s a poor ft shooter. Only this coaching staff can make our fans think Bailey is not as good as he is. Also, Bailey shot a combine 19-38 for 46 against Bama and TAMU. You guys crack me up

Do you even watch the NBA? Will NBA teams have 2-3 guys with an eye on each of them at all times and one guy basically grappling with them all game? Very little contact on ball in the NbA if any. The refs we had at Vegas called it similar to that. The clowns at the RAC are ....clowns.

Dylan is 100% a lock. Outside of injury.

I really can't think of an injury that would drop him outside Top 5.
Maybe a blown out knee? Achilles?

It's not "elite athleticism" that is his calling card though.
So even if he had the above injuries, I'm not sure how much it lowers his ceiling.
He's not dunking over guys currently.

NBA scouts will look at Harper in Las Vegas and say, "Oh hey, he can drive to the basket and finish at will," and they aren't going to penalize him for Pike not letting him take over games. Harper is definitely going in the Top 3.

Bailey? Bailey is a work in progress. I think he's a Top 10 pick, but not a lock for Top 5. His defense sucks and he doesn't rebound well for someone his size. And he clearly doesn't give a shit about free throw shooting (which matters when his game should be centered around setting up on the block).

These guys are Allen Iverson and Shawn Kemp - pro scouts will recognize it.

Couldn't agree more. Bailey givies off a lackadaisical vibe. How would an NBA team not consider that he's aloof on the court about half the time.
