I noticed that Singleton and Barnwell have brothers in the NJ Top 30 for 2017. Where did the older Singleton play football? Do we have a chance with these two?

Drew Singleton's older brother is DJ Singleton. DJ went to SPP.
He signed with Wisky and had qualifying issues. Ended up at Nebraska. From all reports, he was lost there. lol. He ended up at Norther Iowa with Savon and Bradnon Napoleon (also from SPP via West Virginia).
I know Savon didn't do much this year, but I haven't checked to see if Singleton and Napoleon got any run.
DJ's biggest issue is he wants to be a safety and every program makes him a LBer. It wouldn't shock me if he stops playing football with eligibility left. He never seemed overly motivated to me.

I see another brother Mike Tverdov DE 6'3 225 that we should be able to recruit next year. Found an old article about Peter tailgating and sounds like he got a good job attending Rutgers.

No matter who the new coach was going to be, Drew has pretty much zero interest in representing the state school from what I understand. He didn't stay home for HS and didn't even play for his towns pop warner team. Elijah Barnwell got offered by Flood during his freshman year but I feel like he is a great HS player without a position. He hasn't received an offer anywhere else since. I don't think he has the speed to be a RB right now and he's only 5-10 so he can't play LB.
Singleton played in 3 games, 1 tackle according to the Northern Iowa website. Didnt see any stats listed for Napoleon.

Because Napoleon is a great kid.
I don't think Singleton LOVES football. I think he was pretty good at it (on the HS level) and is a ++ athlete. But he never struck me as the type that loves it. You gotta love it to grind it out every day, imo.
