Curious if any of the big donors here have been approached regarding the proposed basketball practice facility?
Has the bill for tax credits made any progress in the state senate?
With the changes at the top of the Athletic Dept this would be something that sees a hiccup, but it is so badly overdue and needed that I would've hoped progress is still being made.
For things like this .. I would love to see RU open up a special fundraising designation and send an email out to everyone to chip in a little bit towards this specific goal. Then have the number of donors and dollars shown - I thought that was super powerful during the Rutgers Giving Day campaign on Dec 1st. The dollars raised in this style would just be a drop in the bucket, but would be a really good gauge at how the alumni are willing to support above and beyond when things are sorely needed.
