Big 10 Basketball Tidbits - June 16, 2016

I. OOC Games Scheduled:

- Indiana to host Liberty
- Northwestern released its OOC schedule. Will play at Barclays in Tourney; will play DePaul
- Illinois to play VCU in AA Arena in Miami with Miami vs Wofford on the card as well (will game draw 1,500 fans?)
- Maryland to host Charlotte in Baltimore
- Illinois to host Central Michigan

II. Transfers In / (Out):

- Michigan Transfer Kameron Chatman to Detroit (Dave Debuschere's alma mater)
- Maryland Transfer Roddy Peters to Nicholls State
- Michigan State Transfer Javon Bess has committed to St Louis (Travis Ford picking up lots of transfers) after decommitting from Akron.
- Northwestern Ass't Coach Ryan Humphrey (remember him from Notre Dame) took same position at Notre Dame.
- Ohio State Transfer G Austin Grandstaff to DePaul as he previously committed to Oklahoma.

III. Misc Player News:

- Illinois G Tracy Abrams awarded 6th year of eligibility
- Indiana G James Blackmon has rejoined the team - however has not participated in physical drills (knee)
- Maryland G Dion Wiley is practicing (MCL). Losing him pre-season last year was a huge loss for MD and Trimble had to play PG.
- Ohio State Jae Sean Tate has been cleared for practice (shoulder)....he killed us last year.

Yup, there were rumblings that Wiley would have started over Sulaimon at the 2, but he's not a ball handler.

Also Roddy Peters is technically an ex-Maryland transfer as he went from MD to USF a few years ago, and now to Nicholls State. Far falloff.
