I guess if you don't have the money for a gym you work out any way you can if you want to play. My son was telling me earlier this week he was walking out of his GF apartment in Manhattan around 121st street, he's a cop here in NJ. As he left apartment he hears this loud racket and he see's this street light shaking, he thought someone had hit it. When he gets closer he see's some young guys there the one is strapped to the light post with a heavy band around his waste, he said the kid was so big he thought he'd rip it out of the ground as he sprinting with the band. When he stands upright he see's he's wearing a Rutgers Football Tee so he asked him if he played for RU. The kid responds no but I'd love too, I've taken the train when I have some extra money to go to games. They did a little small talking my son tells him he's been going to games since he was a baby, they asked where he was parked and he told them his truck was just around the corner. The kid asked do you have any extra R magnets he said yes but not with me, his friends started laughing and he said good because I took yours. He said this theft of the block R he did not mind

That's a great story--thief tells cop I stole your magnet, cop has a small sense of pride about it. Love me my college football!!

P.S. I always have a few extra magnets in my trunk in case I want to give one to someone or in case I want to put one on the back of someone's car who might not know I've put it there.

P.P.S. 121st Street, huh? More proof that we are NY's team. :-)

Not familiar with NYC high school football, but is it safe to say we are the number 1 school the NYC high school players are looking at ?

So to recruit these kind of guys we need Taj Mahal facilites ? Sounds like a plain gym laoded with weights and a few light posts would work just fine. And a few metal lunchpails.
