BNT2Go.com gonna work? YUP!

Good analysis MC1974!

I actually wasn't quite as worried because Kahleah and Betnijah were gonna get us points when Purdue got it close again. I also was very happy when I looked at their stats prior to the game and saw that they were NOT a good 3-point shooting team. This was proven by their 2-10 from 3.

I think you sell Christa a little short because, while she isn't near the offensive threat that Rachel can be, she is lockdown on D. She plays defense with her feet as she should. She did an excellent job last night as the low point total for Purdue indicates.

I haven't been able to watch any of the past few games, but have seen posters say they'd like to see Canty drive more. Does anyone think she is tentative to drive so she doesn't bang her knee? Those deep bone bruises can be painful for a while.

One thing on the margin - this is a classic CVS/RU situation. I used to joke that, given the pace of play and RU's defense, that a 10 point lead really was a 20 point lead. I don't think they're that good on defense yet, but this game was played slow and it's just hard to build up and keep a 20 point lead when the pace is like that.

I wouldn't say they play really well. I thought it was a very good win though. They went on the road against a moderately tough B10 team, played a functional game, and won by 10. This is what all good teams do. No one ever plays their best all the time.

Also I find it a good sign that we seem to have different players stepping up each tonight. Tonight Scaife was off but Copper picked it up.

Speaking of scoring in the paint, I have a gut feeling that one of these days, Rachel Hollivay is gonna just blossom into an all American. Once the light bulb finally goes on, the sky is the limit for her.

I agree with you.

Thank you!

I was trying to focus the comments around why we scored so few points and my point was that our post scoring was down for various reasons. However, Crista played very good defense and was out there for several minutes. She plays very hard!
