247 has him as a top 150 player. Their composite has him as a 3* bc rivals and scout had him as a 3 star. Hopefully his composite goes to a 4* now, too

Stars don't matter as to individual players. But stars in the aggregate do matter, and perception matters. So this is a good think. Highly ranked recruits want to go where there are other highly ranked recruits.
