Carton just said he has a major announcement about Rutgers football. Would assume it has something to do with Ray Rice.

It's CRAP. I've watched 2 football games at Yankee Stadium. The sight lines are HORRIBLE. At the end of each game I felt like my back was wrenched from sitting in a twisted position. Some of our idiot "fans" are crying about entry point prices to attract "new" Rutgers fans and that $45 was too expensive to park in Johnson park. Now most of us have to drive over 1-2 hours to get to the Bronx, pay $40 to park where you can't even tailgate in a parking garage. What a joke.
I heard they let a caller on to plug the Rutgers-Princeton Wrestling matchup preceding Rutgers vs. PSU. Carton was WWE cracking jokes (do they give a scholarship for the guy who hits him with a chair , etc.) but they let him get it out, which was pretty cool.

That venue is the most god awful place to be stuck watching a football game. Another fast buck gimmick by the Steinbrenners to steal a quick buck. And we the RU fans are the suckers.
Maybe they should have run it past the Rivals board? I am sure they would have made other arrangements.:bomb:
While I'm not happy RU is playing a regular season home game there, I have no issue with the Steinbrenners making a buck on it. Isn't that why there in business?
I'm actually curious how representative the Rivals board is of the wider fanbase with regards to this.
A bowl game or away game is just an extra opportunity to see Rutgers play (while it's not the greatest venue, it's easier than traveling further for a bowl game or going to an away venue)... this is the swapping of a home game for Yankee Stadium (which is harder).
