Boxing Day = Soccerfest. Who knew?

I have always knew our neighbors to the North and all of the United Kingdom celebrated the day after Christmas called Boxing Day. What I didn't know that is a huge day for the Premier League. Normally I just focus on college bowl games but now I am adjusting my day off schedule to arrive at my favorite pub in Philly in the morning. One early game but a massive line-up starting at 10am. Who knew? Glad I know now!

American Football is to Thanksgiving as Soccer is to English Football.

It is a family day and many families like going to the EPL and the Championship League for games that day.

I'll be watching Newcastle United vs. Sheffield Wednesday
