BREAKING NEWS--Xanadu Opening Delayed

Doing a retail outlet mall project with Simon Properties here in Maryland. 400,000 square feet. 100 stores. Will deliver in 18 months. Anyone who took or approved the use of tax payer money for this Xanadu folly should be indicted.

How ironic would it be if some investment group ultimately turned that site into a mega-casino?

Honestly, that's the only iteration that I see with any profit potential.

So far, what is currently in place equates to digging a hole to get out of one.

It's really hard to fathom that shovels actually hit the ground on September 29th 2004 yet it's still nowhere near completed. What a complete F'up for anyone who touched this thing. From politicians straight down to the workers.:chairshot: This will go down in history as a case study on how not to build something.
And at the time, completion was projected "about two years" after groundbreaking. Does fifteen meet the definition of "about two".

I do think it's harsh to blame the workers though.
