Kids? Plural? We will have more than one ship to give. Kids will leave.
Bullock is the first New Jersey high school basketball player to commit to Rutgers since four-star St. Anthony guard Myles Mack picked the Scarlet Knights back in 2011
Wow.. That speaks volumes
Great news, i like this kid!
But lets not go crazy, its not like any major programs were knocking down his door
Wtf? That can't be true.
We will have more than one ship to give. Kids will leave.
Lol you guys amuse me
"Pikes"....is that his nickname?
That has a ring to it, the student section can be called the "Pikemen"
And it works too because pikemen were a real thing. In the Renaissance pikemen were the footsoldiers of many armies and were led by...knights :)
well, it's a great step if it improves our relationships with the High School and AAU coaches that were virtually non-existent under Eddie.Great news, i like this kid!

I am so happy to hear this. I hate to say it but I was the first guy to push for him on this site. I was ripped for saying how good he was and how tough he is. I said that RU should have gone after Otis Livingston too and was ripped by many for saying that. I have watched basketball for many many years and I recognize players with talent. I firmly believe that Matt will become a fan favorite and will add much toughness which we have lacked. He will probably be on The All State Team tomorrow as Otis was on the first team last year. I am a Linden guy so I see them more than I see other teams but I have seen Matt play quite a few times. A future all star I believe is Tavon Jones of Linden who just completed his sophomore year and led Linden in scoring at 15.7 ppg. He is a SG and is already 6'2" and I expect him to be on one of the 3 All State teams tomorrow. He had 5 threes in one game this year against Roselle Catholic. He also takes it hard to the basket. He is a future All Star who will get many offers. St. Joe of Philly offered him 2 months ago. We should be keeping Tavon on our radar. I feel vindicated after this announcement and look forward to watching Matt play at RU. I am also glad that we finally got a Jersey guy. It is about time as we have so much talent in our state.
Would be a great promotion since most people buy tickets up there and then move down to better seats later. We should run promotions for tix in a few of the 300-level sections. Call the area Pikes Peak.
Tickets in Pikes Peak -- only $10 each, two for $15
