Cam sounds like a bit of an a**

Pike says in this day and age of the transfer portal, NIL, and another extra COVID year you simply do the following...

*for those players who leave, wish them good luck, pat their back, & thank them for their service to the program

*appreciate the players who return

*welcome the new players entering the program with open arms

Pike realizes roster turnover will continue annually. No use getting too wrapped up in situations you have no control over. Players are going to do what they think is best for them.

He relishes the "job" of coaching. He enjoys taking the puzzle pieces he has each season and trying to make them as successful a team as possible.
College sports are one year propositions now. No one gets that more than Pike.

Spencer was a one year mercenary. Just like he is for UConn. This is college sports now.

I really like cam as a player and a competitor, so let’s be fair to him…

He didn’t say “I came to the big east to play with the best players”, he said:

“I camef to thu big weast to pway wiff the bwest pwawers”

Let’s at least quote him correctly.

wow... that's mature... attack someone's physical attribute. hope everyone in your family are perfect human beings.

Surprised anyone is even thinking about Cam Spencer.....he was a 1 year rental with no equity in RU or our program. It's been 4+ months that I stated the backcourt would be upgraded and based on the early looks on Griffiths and Davis, I feel fairly certain that RU upgraded it's short and long-term future in the backcourt.

Yeah nope

Pretty lowbrow treatment of a kid who came here, busted his ass, kept us competitive and gave us some big wins.
I said he was a fierce competitor. Which he was. This thread is evaluating his language. His spoken word. His linguistics, even. Sorry! It was a dick comment. I relent. Hope he doesn’t see it

Maybe he wanted a shot at a national title … they are defending national champs.
