You can't be seriousAsh's breaking good RU Jersey ties despite his lacking any of his own or bringing any new ones in is a very difficult thing to understand.

Anthony Campanile was here for four years - joining the Rutgers staff in the summer of 2012
In those four years, which outstanding high profile players committed to & enrolled at Rutgers specifically because of the recruiting talents of Anthony Campanile?
Campanile and Barthel remind me of sales guys who everybody says are 'really great' - they know everybody ... everybody likes them - but they don't close sales & don't hit quota.
If Ash sat down with Campanile and said "you have been here four years - tell me the names of the program improving players that you have brought into this program" ...what would he say?
Let him go to Bergen. The great majority of kids from Bergen end up playing at Lafayette or Bucknell anyway.
No, it's not a joke. My point is most Bergen football players end up at Lafayette or Bucknell, or some other shitty school like Holy Cross. That is, Bergen is the most overrated school it's a joke. Has nothing to do with where he went to school.is this a joke?
he went to boston college

I think Cured lives in a alternate universe where Campanille has had a effect on RU recruitingAsh's breaking good RU Jersey ties despite his lacking any of his own or bringing any new ones in is a very difficult thing to understand.
Camp has had a big effect by not developing a single WR behind Carroo adequately (and I doubt Carroo's success had anything to do with Campanile)I think cured lives in a alternate universe where Campanille has had a big effect on RU recruiting

Why on earth do you want someone who wasn't a good wr coach?Ash's breaking good RU Jersey ties despite his lacking any of his own or bringing any new ones in is a very difficult thing to understand.

That sucks big good for us. There goes bosco recruitsEhhh..this is the guy I would have liked to keep. Guess he wanted an on-field position.
Sucks he went to BC though.

I thought that was the name of the school -- Bergen Catholic of the Boston Area and someone just shortened it to BC. Who knew it was really Boston College University? So, he's going to Bergen Catholic ?
Bashing? It's constructive argument. Show me one recruit he nabbed..also, show me any ray of hope in our WR's development outside of Carroo, who I personally feel has been making the same big plays since day 1He is a former RU player and coach that got a promotion. The bashing is over the top.

I agree. I think Anthony would have had a better success rate with recruits if he was working with a true closer. We have yet to see if Ash can close but his personality looks the part.Tough to blame Campanile for failing to land the major NJ recruits he was involved with. You need the head coach to close the deal and offer an opportunity to succeed at the college level. I am confident that we will see Coach Ash do a much better job closing highly regarded NJ players.
