Finally!!!! [jumpingsmile] I guess RU couldn't ignore the fact so many years later since the WNBA already named her to the WNBA'S top 20 players in the 1st 20 years of the WNBA.

Richly deserved. Brian Leonard is also among the new inductees, which makes me think that RU might have a policy about the minimum number of years after an athlete graduates before he/she can be selected for the HoF. Brian's last season was the fabled 2006 season, when he was also honored with the Draddy award (IIRC), considered to be the academic Heisman for football.

Both Cappie and Brian did a lot to advance their respective sports during their time at Rutgers.

Bob Reasso, the long-term men's soccer coach who took RU to something like 13 NCAA tournaments including 3 Final Fours, is another honoree.
