The receivers aren't getting open and Laviano doesn't have enough time to wait on them. Joe Montana could start the 2nd half and it wouldn't make any difference.

If Laviano is our best QB, we'll win 2 more games, KS and Army. The kids tough, but he's got no arm. I have no idea if Rettig is in fact better, and having not taken starters reps for two weeks, it's probably asking too much for him to come in for the second half. But, Flood should give him the start vs. KS, just to see if he can do better. He can't be any worse than Laviano.
