He got a raw deal - that show was never given a fair chance when the pope came out of retirement. And what a mistake the pope’s second act turned out to be.But this guy somehow can't get a job on WFAN. FAN IS FULL OF 💩💩💩

That’s nice and all for Chris but Are there other NJ sportscasters? Who was 2nd Ray Lucas?
He is still doing it for the Devils. Always good to listen to him.I remember that Matt Laughlin of the Devils won it one year.

And a recordCarlin needed a Noo Yawk accent and a gambling focus - spreads, action, over-unders, lines, favs, Vegas - all the real spawtz stuff
Back in the early days of cable there was Suburban Cable, a forerunner to Comcast. At one time, this "small" network had Matt Laughlin, Bruce Beck, Bob Ley, and Paul Spyhala (did PA work at the RAC for while) doing sports. He is still doing it for the Devils. Always good to listen to him.
Not a bad lineup !Back in the early days of cable there was Suburban Cable, a forerunner to Comcast. At one time, this "small" network had Matt Laughlin, Bruce Beck, Bob Ley, and Paul Spyhala (did PA work at the RAC for while) doing sports.
I echo the opinion that Carlin is a good guy.
