Both QB's put up great 1st half numbers but still a 14-9 game. Most of the second half after adjustments was a clinic on how to play Defense. The turnover was huge. Looked like we had a second turnover but just a great battle between these two coaches and of course the players on the field getting it done.

Also nice okay call by Ciarocca on the last TD. Strong went to the spot were the safety vacated.

Min switched to a lot of man free and we ran a slant in combo and the defense didn't switch. They played it pretty poorly which is why we walked into the end zone.

Holding Minnesota to 35 yards rushing was tremendous.

Yes . D line stopped the run pretty well. Pass defense still looked a little weak and there were a lot of poorly thrown balls or receiver/qb misalignment which helped us out. But great effort by the D yesterday.

Offensively great first half. At halftime I asked others in my section “Where has this team been all season?” Felt like I was seeing something new. Then the second half came along …

Yup plus the safety blitzed. Three guys went with Miller and String had nobody even in his area code. However if he ran the pattern into the end zone instead of the one yard line they could have recovered (maybe)

They blitzed the safety #3 almost every play the 2nd half which was a nice adjustment but also why we broke through for the TD. The difference in this game was the RB play for us and the TO caused by Powell. AK had a really, really strong first half and iur WR group is growing up.

As far as our pass D it was pretty good. They made a lot of catches with tight coverage. The wind was a factor as some balls got held up going into the wind. The pass Flip almost picked hung up and he mistimed it. If it didn't hang he picks that easily.
