Coleman Grill Deal

I have had this grill for maybe 6 years now. Can't complain one bit. It does a good job and transports very easily. Cools down quickly when you are done too, so you can take the grates off and clean it up if you want before transporting home from a tailgate or whatever.
They also sell a travel bag to put it into, if you care to get something like that.

I bought the stove grate accessory for it too, which is useful if you want to make some sides or something. They also sell a griddle.

Had this Coleman grill for about 10 years.
Would not trade it for any other out there

just bought this for 149 at amazon a few weeks ago, it gets HOT!

Read the reviews on Amazon. Don't cook on High, just low. heat it up on high for 5 minutes, then sear your meat and cook on low. I bought an extension hose to use a normal propane tank. And I guess there is a way to refill the small plastic disposable tanks, too. I needed a small grill and went with this over the Weber Q, which is smaller and only one burner. There are some really helpful reviews on Amazon. Oh, and you can cook with the lid down. I love this grill.

That is a good price
I paid $149 about 5 years ago for mine
Has been great
I have the griddle and use it for French toast for our breakfast tailgates
I also have a two burner camp stove which is great for coffee pot
and eggs.
I refill the small propane tanks from a large tank kept at home
Easier to transport than bringing the big tank
The connecting attachment cost about $5 IIRC

Ive also had the Coleman for about 10 years now, I think I might bite on a new one...the burner piece you buy is actually so much better than the griddle for eggs because you can just cook the eggs or pancakes in a regular frying pan, less running all over the griddle and less mess to clean up

I agree. I found the griddle a useless mess. Got the burner and use a frying pan too. Works great.

How do you do that?

You can buy an adapter that allows you to screw them together and fill the 1lb from the 20lb bottle. You can get the adapter in Harbor Freight for about 20 bucks. A couple of things to note when doing this.....

  1. be in a well ventilated area
  2. 20lb bottle should be room temp
  3. 1lb bottle should be cold (put in freezer for 20 or 30 mins before filling)
  4. screw bottles together and then flip big tank upside down
  5. Open the valve on big tank. When you hear it stop filling close the valve, flip tank back over and detach the 2 tanks.....
