College football hate map released State Penn most hated in NJ

NY big ten school is not listed. Hard to believe cause I read the hate and all the time. No one knows they

exists.

And Michigan in NJ

TURD ALERT, TURD ALERT

reppin _jerz is back.

Are you the only guy that likes your post with your other screen name? I was hoping to have a Putz free Friday , there goes that dream. I'm guessing cheesesteak Vegas is your other personality. I don't understand if you're a PSU fan why you hang around here

So are USC, BYU, Texas, Wisconsin, Florida State, Georgia, North Carolina and Virginia. It's a product of having other universities within the same state all hating you (hello, Pitt), whereas your own fans hate a variety of schools. In Penn State's case, our fans probably listed a number of teams, from Pitt to Michigan to Ohio State to Notre Dame, etc.

What I find far more interesting is that when Rutgers and Pitt fans get called out for constantly harping on the Sandusky scandal, many reply that it's not just them and college football fans everywhere hate Penn State. According to this study, PSU was cited by less than 2.5% of fans and didn't even crack the top 10 most hated programs.
Only thing worse than being hated is being forgotten. Outside of this region nobody thinks of PSU football. You haven't been relevant in forever on the national scene. Change "hated" to disgusted and you'd win in A landslide.

Reppin_Jerz = Reppin Pedophilia, Exhibit 105

I know it's difficult for you to see reality but PSU is one of only four teams in the past decade to win a big ten conference football championship (Michigan state, Wisconsin and Ohio state being the others) in 2005 and 2008. And don't try to say that was a long time ago as everyone on this board constantly quotes the 2006 RU team as the gold standard.

Reppin_Jerz = Reppin Pedophilia, Exhibit 106

agreed I just don't think many RU fans have the historical knowledge of big ten football to realize that PSU had been a lot more relevant in the big ten in the last decade than most schools...can't just look at the past couple of years or you wouldn't be able to give Michigan any cred either

That is all, LOL.

And neither have South Carolina or Baylor, the Nos. 9 and 10 programs on the list. Regardless, the comments here would have you convinced the entire college football universe despises everything Penn State with all of its being. In fact, that doesn't seem to be the case.
This is a list of most hated football programs. If it was a list of most hated UNIVERSITIES, then your beloved PSU would be TOPS on the list for sure.

Michigan has some NJ fans but I was very underwhelmed by the crowd they brought in 2014. Judging by that, their fanbase here is very overestimated.

Saw that too. Penn State is the most hated in its own state.

You can't make this stuff up.

Not that surprising. If you look at the poll, a lot of the major state universities are number one or two on the list in their own state. If you didn't attend that university, you might have attended one of the other schools in the state, which really gives you great rooting interest in State U. I attended a small state school in Pa., and hearing "Penn State this," "Penn State that" all the time gets very old.

If it was most hated poster, reppin_jerz would have his creepy mug on top of the list- choad

... and you abuse your little brother because, well, you are Pedd State. Well, those days are over, we now have a legitimate HC.

What is going on in Vermont and New Hampshire?

Here's how I read that situation... not enough college football fans t matter up there. Maybe a couple Alabama bred students at colleges up there voted? Maybe no one up there voted and it is a glitch in that they had to assign something....

5000 votes for the whole thing.. nationally.. that ain't many. There is likely a lot of flawed results in this thing based on odd sample sizes.

Lots of discussion about a reddit poll where only 30% of states managed to field even 100 respondents... this is even more inaccurate than the "facebook likes" map a while back.
