Great story! You're not going to find a player/coach relationship as close as the one shared by Derkack and Gallo. I think if you asked Derkack "Any chance you leave Merrimack?" prior to his sophomore season his response would have been similar to what Griffiths said about RU prior to the 2023-24 campaign.
