Didn't see the game, don't know what happened, fully expected to lose.
There is no shame in the loss, and I have no idea of the details.
Put another way - Rutgers is who they are. Rutgers has not pulled an upset in a very long while and I don't think defeated many ranked teams in quite a while. It is not reasonable to expect that to change.
I'll add that Northwestern is having an excellent season and Jumping Joe is one of 15 coaches that are finalists for Coach of the Year.
PS - only old-timers have any idea why I called him Jumping Joe. Nice guy, by the way, met him outside the arena when he was at George Washington and we were waiting for the Cager's bus.
