Did you ever check out his QBR stats? One of the lowest in all of college football.

Nope. Try again. Gavin was 81 and Cole was 121. Only 6 QB with enough attempts were worse. Yikes.
what narrative is that? Gav is God awful and so bad; you've got fans wondering if we can bring Cole back
Cole was good in 2022, this year not so much.
But despite having a year in 2023 that didn't match his 2022 performance , that isn't keeping suitors away..
So I'll not knock his talents, just feel his talent wasn't a good fit for Rutgers and going to Buffalo helped him improve enough that programs like Syracuse and Vanderbilt feel he would be a good pick up
As for Wimstatt , he hasn't shown enough for me to claim Snyder wouldn't start over him but Snyder faced lesser competition which could be used in Gavin's favor
Gavin hasn't proved he deserves to be considered a P-5 starter , so I can see why Cole has supporters that feel he'd have been better that Gavin

QBR: Snyder 80.9; 58.65
So you're saying we wouldn't have made the championship game?
And completing somewhat more than 50% of his pass attempts. That really puts things into perspective.
