Congrats to the students. In a mostly empty stadium, the student section was packed.

Can you blame them? It's a blowout and I think I might leave soon myself... They also seem to have dispersed, as I am in the adjacent young alumni section. I'm sure they'll be back for Iowa. Can't wait!Welp, the students have left the building for the 2nd half. Under 750 left
For those that were there, what do you guys think the attendance was?
Easily 10,000 students there by the middle of the first quarterDoesnt look mostly empty to me
This seems pretty accurate. It was a good crowd in terms of "actual" attendance.37,000
Very good crowd for home opener against Wagner! And don't let anyone say no one actually showed up.Here ya go, halfway through the 2nd qtr:
You'll still have haters who will say the attendance was no more than 30K.Very good crowd for home opener against Wagner! And don't let anyone say no one actually showed up.
Turnstiles-27,543Great showing by the Students.
Real overall attendance 29,830…. But we will never know.
Good crowd considering the opponentHere ya go, halfway through the 2nd qtr:
Last game I attended was RU/Army up at WP (Flood's last year.) They were taking TV timeouts in the middle of drives ! Game had to be 3.5 hours easy. I said never againGames are interminably long. First half was 1 hour 45 minutes! That is just absurd. If this situation is not addressed many will opt to stay home and watch on TV where you can at least do other stuff during the endless "media time outs." Painful. Can't blame people for leaving.

CFB games are far too long.Games are interminably long. First half was 1 hour 45 minutes! That is just absurd. There is a push to get them there prior to introductions. Did well this game. Should be even better for the next two night games. Hopefully stays that way. Push to keep them there but this was such a blowout. Hopefully, they are there until the end of the next two games.Easily 10,000 students there by the middle of the first quarter
and that was vs Wagner!
