Cornell up 6-4 at halttime.

Watch the live stream here (no commentary): Cornell at Albany

edit: sorry, should have mentioned that it's lacrosse in the title

OSU in big trouble. Losing 3-0 to Detroit Mercy. B1G is wide open in lax after Maryland this year IMO. RU and Hopkins look like the 2 most likely contenders for that 2nd spot.

Cornell up 9-7 in the 4th. Never seen a team lead like this without winning even 1 faceoff. Crazy. They are shutting down the Native kid who can't get open. Genius strategy. Kid is magic with the ball. So don't let him get it. Hard to do on fast kids, but for all this kids talent, he isn't swift.

It's just like denying the ball to a star basketball player. Excellent strategy.

It's impossible to employ with faster guys. The field is too big. But for all that kids talent, and they are ample, he isn't quick.

If Cornell one just two more faceoffs that game they would have won. They were utterly and completely dominated at X.

Not surprised by the OSU score. Their offense was putrid. Not sure what their B1G schedule is like, but they are very tough at home. If they are away more, they are in trouble.

OSU lost their ace FoGo to graduation didn't they?

Yes.

Nuts- that wasn’t really a collapse. When you literally can’t win one faceoff, you are lucky to be in it. That stat is gong to be amazing. It’s actually a red flag for Albany. They can’t expedt that every game.

Face off stat. 24-0 Albany. I’ve never seen that. Cornell’s goalie had a good day. Albany with that much possession and scoring 11 goals would be cause for concern. They will not have that luxury against Maryland.
