Talked up Pike / RU quite a bit (even when we were down).

Still resent he went to PSU...but even OJ is out of prison/ Manson's dead. BTW as an aside, F' Jay Williams (I don't like him and see him as a loud mouthed traitor). Not so with Crispin.

Overall, thought he / his partner did a really good job on an extremely emotional / important game for Rutgers!

The Crispin brothers were nothing to play with in highschool. You had to guard them as soon as they crossed half court. Can shoot from anywhere

There were good. Should have went to RU though. PSU hoops curious choice. Could have been in state legends. Their loss.

They're good dudes. Joe runs a couple of youth summer bball camps for the kids down here in Pitman... I live a town over and my son attended them as a 7 year old 2 summers ago. Joe is also the head coach down here at Rowan. Jon came by and helped out at the camps. Def. nice dudes, and Jon has been REALLY high on Corey since he first did a game of ours when Corey was a freshman. Slowly he is becoming a fan of our whole team, and he does a great job both as a color comm. and as a studio analyst. He knows his hoops and has a voice that's not annoying. Big fan.

The brothers Crispin tortured my Highland Park Owls 20 years ago a few years in a row in the Group 1 states. We had LJ Smith and friends and The Crispins just shot the lights out .

Like I said about Jwill, you chose to go elsewhere, so don’t need your comments, even positive, about jersey and RU basketball

Not only did he go elsewhere, but then he grabbed Dahntay Jones to join him. And he then he wanted to be considered for the RU HC position; the very definition of chutzpah. Yet, we have some losers on this board who defend him.

In the mid 90s I was working at Bordentown and we played Pitman in the SJ Group 1 final. One of the Crispins had over 50 and the other about 35. The final score was something like 111 to 104. Never saw a performance like that in HS.

Those guys (especially Joe) were a threat the minute they walked into the gym. Unlimited range.

I enjoyed Jon as a broadcaster yesterday. Thought he did a nice job

Very true. We learned that my junior year. Even though the refs gave them home cooking. I actually have the video on my YouTube page. Too hung over to link it but search 95 south jersey championship.

not only is the guy decent (well more than decent) to us on air, he really knows his stuff. His observations and comments are always spot on. Very impressed by his knowledge and understand of the game and the climate. Very insightful dude.

Went back and watched most of the game on BTN. I don’t care if he scorned RU for penn Stat 30 years ago .. the guy was probably the best announcer in terms of talking up the game and RU that I’ve watched on BTN .. was totally into it, knew his stuff, was having fun and made RU look really good. Like the guy.
