The idea that the Targum has to win school-by-school, rather than by majority vote of all students, seems odd to me. Can anyone explain this?

To survive they have to cut back coverage, why not cut back coverage on the places that don't want the Targum.
I'm sure if a student from those RU schools (that voted no) send an article in , the Targum staff would add them to the news they print and put online.

Gosh, I hope not. Major part of the experience in my day. Plenty of lefty kooks spouting off, but chalked up to naïve youth before being mugged by reality.

Targum was great for me. I was that guy who dropped off the bundle of papers 2 to 3 days each week throughout campus. Was the perfect job. Got up about 4:30, drove to Princeton to pick up the papers, drop around campus and back in bed by 8:00.

Green Print! I was on the staff. It was a nice little weekly paper, but now they only do a yearly alumni issue (probably for Ag Field Day/ Rutgers Day).

It works in the other direction. Targum writers aren't paid, but the printer is. They'll have plenty of content, but fewer pages in which to publish it.

It is a right wing Rag that spouts the virtue of no new taxes and how it is our freedom to rob the public of tax money to pay for non-needed products and services that line the pockets of the rich, at the expense of the poor downtrodden working class. Other then that it was a good paper.
