Congrats to Northwestern. This was like the game in overtime years ago when GW threw a fill court pass to Yinka Dare and GW beat us at the RAC on the last second shot off the backboard. It was almost identical except the pass was to the left side of the backboard. He was I think 7'1" or 7'2" and played a while in the NBA.

Awesome pass. Great play call, as Pardun was setting a screen for McIntosh and slipped the screen and boxed out Walton to catch the pass free able to get it off the glass. What a great way for them to enter the tourney for the first time. They earned it as that game was very well played with a lot of made shots and they got Michigan's best effort. Happy for Collins especially after the classy move with Coach and our guards last week

It's a walk just like the Duke hop basket last year. A ref would have been ballsy to call it but that's a walk. No feet were ever planted, clearly shuffling feet. Check out in slow motion... that be a walk. Everyone focused on amazing pass for the ages, great catch and watching the shot clock... but forgot the feet! Other irony is pushed off too. Offensive pass interference! Really was Soviet Union '72.

Having said all that, loved the outcome and play.

That was not a walk. I watched it three times. He was gathering control of the ball and then had two feet set and jumped. Nothing there.

Not so fast!! Big Ten Network has shown it in super slow motion and not only show Northwestern player pushing off as well as three steps then the shot. Lots of healthy debate whether it was indeed a walk. Said so last night without that re-play. So not the "Only" person at all and have to recognize certainly arguable for debate at the very least.

Quite a few people are saying it was a walk. It was all over the internet on several sports sites. I think it was too close to call so it was a good non call IMO.

I agree too it was too close to call and as I said last night, refs focusing on the clock and shot. Do think he got away with a walk. It did look really awkward and an extra step at the time. I accept Piscataway's apology.

The play was typical of a magical run. The feeling in their bones that they won't be stopped. That feeling, the first time it happens , before the expectations start , has to be the greatest feeling as a fan, and I'd imagine for a player. Good for them. I pray that someday wE feel that magic
